If you’re a novice bowler, anything over 100 is the Holy Grail of scores. I should know, before I became just a pretty good bowler, I was also a novice.

It’s New Year’s Resolution time again, isn’t it?

Every day, 48,960 babies are born into the world as non-smokers. Want to know how they do it? Rather than asking you to start walking up to random infants and berating them with questions, I’ll just give you the answer: “mind-set.” Babies don’t smoke because being a non-smoker is the default state of mind.

The adaptation period for my polyphasic sleep experiment lasted seven days. While I won’t spoil the surprise as to whether or not I succeeded, rest assured, I am either writing this as a successful polynapper or an over indulged monophasic sleeper.

I should have forced myself to work out from day one, this sort of physical exertion could well have sped the adaptation process. Two naps after yesterday’s dumbbell-treadmill biathlon and I’m still very tired.
